Our Puppies

Over the years we at Attaway have learned a lot about Miniature Schnauzers.  We continue to strive to breed healthy, intelligent, beautiful puppies with great personalities.  A good looking dog is not worth a grain of salt unless it is also a sound, smart, affectionate companion.

All of our puppies are wonderful little dogs but an occasional cream of the crop is held onto.  The majority of a litter is sold as a loving companion and pet to a deserving family. 

We raise Miniature Schnauzers in the three recognized colors — Salt & Pepper, Black & Silver, and Black.  Puppies are usually 10-12 weeks of age before they are allowed to leave.  Socialization with their siblings and mother is very important up to that age.

 All of our youngsters have their tails docked and dew claws removed.  Ears are left natural.  Inoculations, wormings, etc. are up to date for their age.  Paperwork to include the puppy’s health record, pedigree, sales contract, and other valuable information is given when the puppy is picked up.  Our puppies are guaranteed against congenital defects as outlined in our sales contract.

We groom and bathe all puppies before they leave although, depending on their age and the weather, the body coats may be left on for their protection.  Young puppies lose their body heat very easily.

Puppies sold as pets are sold with limited AKC registration (i.e. not for breeding purposes).
