The most prestigious dog show in the United States for Miniature Schnauzers and all AKC terriers is the Montgomery County Kennel Club dog show (MCKC).  This show is held the same weekend as three other club shows.  Hatboro Kennel Club holds a show on Thursday and Friday, Devon Kennel Club on Saturday, and the grand finale is the MCKC show in Macungie, PA on Sunday.  These four shows are held every year in early October.  Breeders worldwide bring their best dogs for other breeders and exhibitors to admire and, quite possibly, find dogs they would like to introduce into their own breeding program.

The American Miniature Schnauzer Club holds their Specialty Show in conjunction with the MCKC show on Sunday. It is a time for all Miniature Schnauzer enthusiasts to get together, compare notes, and enjoy the company of each other and their dogs.  Below are a few photos from this years event.
